Description

Recording King continue their run of excellent round-neck resonator guitars with this sweet little RM-993, the non-reliced version of their very popular Swamp Dog model. Like the Swamp Dog, the stock RM-993 features a nickel-plated bell brass body with a mahogany neck and a rock maple biscuit bridge for an authentic, bluesy sound that just can't be had with a wooden guitar. Under the bridge, we've got a hand-spun 9.5" aluminum cone, covered with an impressive chickenfoot coverplate, also built from bell brass. This model features a natural, polished chrome finish, rather than the old-school look of the Swamp Dog, for those of us who want to relic our own guitars. For players looking for a vintage, authentic sound that still retains the trappings and look of a brand-new instrument, the RM-993 is a perfect fit.
