Description
Crossover nylon string guitars have become more common in recent years with steel-string players looking to give classical a shot. As most classical guitars are built with a 52mm nut width, the large dimensions can be a little disconcerting to players more familiar with a steel-string guitar. The Ortega R200SN splits the difference - a one-and-seven-eighths inch nut width for maneuverability without discomfort. But the hybrid-style neck is only the beginning: the R200SN is also a Spanish-made, visually striking classical with a solid cedar top and eye-catching burgundy cuts of palo rojo on the back and sides. This means the guitar has all the warm, rich sound players look for in a classical guitar, but still prices comfortably under $ 1,000. Included with the guitar is an Ortega deluxe gig bag for ideal protection and portability.
