Description

Few guitars are more iconic than the Martin D-18, which many consider to be the ideal instrument for acoustic rock, country, and folk music. A formidable, dreadnaught-sized guitar with a spruce top and mahogany on the back and sides, the D-18 has all the volume, power, and lively midrange many players look for from a big guitar best suited for open position chords. This one, built in 2013, has already undergone a few years of opening up, and has acquired a bit more punch than one might see from a new D-18. As part of Martin's Reimagined series, this model also features scalloped forward-shifted X-bracing, for a bit of added sustain and volume.

Playwear is very minimal, with a few small divots in the top on the lower bout, and a small chip on the back binding. It has not undergone any major repairs in its lifetime. We consider the guitar to be in very good condition, and included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
