We love Larrivée's production instruments, but it's hard to get over this limited run P-09 from 2023, one of only 30 ever made. With a European moon spruce top and some stunning quilted silver oak on the back and sides, this instrument ranks among the prettiest parlors we've ever had on our walls, bolstered all the more by elegant custom inlay work from Wendy Larrivée herself. But if you think the P-09 is just a pretty face, we encourage you to put it to the test, both with a flatpick as well as with your fingers - it boasts a clear, harp-like sound full of high overtones that seems to ask you to play up the neck. As a very rare and collectible piece of Larrivée's recent history, we feel this is a once-in-a-lifetime guitar that will make an ideal primary instrument for any parlor enthusiast. Once you've started strumming it, it's just about impossible to put back down.

This instrument arrived in our store in very good condition, with light cosmetic wear roughly in line with an almost-new instrument. It has recently had a full professional set up and fret dress, and plays very well in all positions, with a straight neck and comfortable action that supports a wide range of playing styles. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
