This is a lovely gem of a small guitar. Larrivee has been building serious “parlor guitars” for a number of years and this is an excellent example of one in near new condition. When it comes to guitars, condition is everything and it is clear that this guitar’s owner played it with great care. The construction is all solid woods so the tone is more complex than many of the laminated parlor guitars out there. Also, the volume and bass response are excellent from a small bodied, short-scale guitar. The action is superb up and down the next so it “plays like butter.” If you’re looking for a small bodied, high quality guitar at a good price this would be a great choice. PS... This is the same model of guitar played by astronaut Chris Hadfield on the International Space Station!
