Description

While gypsy jazz players are primarily known for playing steel-string guitars, Lulo Reinhardt, the great-nephew of esteemed guitarist Django Reinhardt, has built his trademark sound around a truly unique instrument crafted by Kremona Guitars in Bulgaria. The Daimen is a hybrid-style nylon string guitar, with a 48mm radiused nut and 14 frets to the body designed by and for Lulo to accentuate his signature sound. While most hybrid-style nylon string guitars tend to split the difference between a classical guitar and a mid-sized steel string acoustic, the Daimen obviously takes more after a manouche-style grand bouche guitar, with a large, oblong soundhole and the huge lower bout favored by such players. The top is constructed from solid spruce, with layered Bulgarian walnut on the back and sides and a solid walnut neck, giving the guitar a more rounded midrange than most gypsy jazz instruments. Finally, it comes with an LR Baggs Element pickup pre-installed, ensuring that it sounds great both amplified as well as unplugged. Come check out this truly unique guitar today. Included in the price is a Kremona hard shell case.
