Just like our BT-1000, the CC-Banjitar from Gold Tone offers the characteristic sound of a banjo, but in guitar tuning, but with the added feature of a resonator on the back. This instrument is ideal for a guitarist interested in adding the sound of a banjo to a recording, but who doesn't have the time to learn a new instrument. Just as it would on a resonator banjo, the resonator adds volume and brightness, giving this banjitar the classic, bell-like tone sought by bluegrass players. The CC-Banjitar is analogous to Gold Tone's CC-50RP, our most popular beginner's resonator banjo, so if the prospective player decides to switch to five-string at some point, the transition will be smooth. Included in our price is a Gold Tone gig bag.
