Description
The Folklore Center has gone electric! We could not pass up taking in this vintage Gibson ES-120T from 1967. It is a thin-line fully hollow-body archtop guitar that features Gibson's modular pickup/pickguard. This is the same single coil pickup you would have seen on one of Gibson's Melody Maker solid body electrics at the time. This guitar is fresh off of a full set up from our luthier and is ready to turn some heads. It is in very good condition with a fair amount of crazing in the finish (typical of any vintage Gibson), a handful of small superficial dings in the finish, and a slightly bent tuner shaft on the G string that still functions perfectly. All of the parts are original, save for the hard shell case and a dual output mod wherein an additional working output has been installed in the side where it would have typically been on a standard model. Both outputs work, and is a really cool way to experiment with dual signal chains!
