Description
While options for brand new parlor guitars have historically been limited to more costly, niche instruments geared towards guitar nerds, Eastman are bucking the trend with their E1P, a high-quality option for players of all budgets. A solid Sitka spruce top and a solid sapele back and sides help to bolster the sound of these naturally bright and boxy instruments with a warmer midrange, and Eastman have kept the neck playable with a standard one-and-eleven-sixteenths nut width and a traditional C profile. A light satin finish in Eastman's classic sepia-burst adds a little cosmetic flair to the guitar and helps balance its new-school playability with an old-school aesthetic. This is a great introduction to the world of small-bodied guitars and would make for a great tool for beginning fingerstyle blues or ragtime. Included in the price is an Eastman soft-shell case.
