Description
If there's one thing Eastman excels at, it's offering the full package at a price other manufacturers simply can't compete with. Take this AC222CE for example - these awesome acoustic/electrics pack the full range of features into a gig-ready instrument at half of what American companies would charge. This instrument combines a torrefied Sitka spruce top with an ovangkol back and sides for a warm, bass-forward tone that packs a surprising amount of punch when you dig in with your right hand, but can remain mellow and smooth when approached lightly and delicately. Modeled on Taylor's highly popular Grand Auditorium body shape, these big-bodied, full-size guitars have a huge amount of volume to spare, but remain ergonomic and comfortable to play. A slick Venetian cutaway provides easy access to the highest notes on the fingerboard, and a Fishman Sonitone active undersaddle pickup provides a premium sound when amplified. Included in the price is an Eastman soft-shell case.
