Description
Between its all solid wood construction, comfortable body shape, and outstanding tone when amplified, Eastman's AC222CE is not simply one of the company's most affordable acoustic/electrics - it's also one of their best. Combining a torrefied Sitka spruce top with an ovangkol back and sides, these full-bodied six-strings boast a warm and mellow low end that gets bigger, tighter, and brighter when hit with a heavy right hand. The AC222CE's design is modeled after Taylor's extremely popular Grand Auditorium body size, which combines a long scale length and a big body with a small waist for an ergonomic and comfortable playing experience for players of all sizes. We opted for an eye-catching sepia-tone Classic finish on this one for a visual calling card that stands well afield of most acoustic/electrics available today, pairing nicely with the natural figuring in the ovangkol. Included in the price is an Eastman soft-shell case.
