Description

The Deering Goodtime Six proves that quality and affordability are not mutually exclusive in the world of the six-string banjo (or banjitar, or guitarjo, etc., etc.). Just like the more typical five-string offerings in the California-based company's Goodtime line, this awesome six-string open-back features all maple construction, from its slim and comfortable rock maple neck down to its multi-ply pot, constructed with authentic violin-grade tonewood. Players who love the naturally bright and snappy tone of the standard Goodtime will be thrilled to find that the same sonic profile is present in the Goodtime Six, ensuring that this banjo not only feels great to play, but sounds fantastic, too. Appointments adhere closely to the standard Goodtime cosmetics, but Deering have added a pau ferro fingerboard for an eye-catching look that distinguishes it a bit from its five-string siblings. This is a silly bit of good-natured fun that will make a great tool for any guitarist who likes to do a bit of everything onstage and in the studio. Come check it out before it's gone.
