Description
This KM-850 is the highest end mandolin we've carried thus far from Kentucky, and our high expectations haven't been disappointed by this great intermediate to advanced F-style. Featuring much of what players will have come to expect from the company's mandolins - a solid German spruce top, and solid Alpine maple on the back, sides and neck, the KM-850 is also a clearly finer instrument than even the KM-750 or KM-755 we've carried in the past, with more hand-built components and a tighter fit, finish, and set-up. The KM-850 features a beautiful vintage sunburst finish, ivoroid binding, and an attractive floral pattern headstock inlay that evokes classic-era bluegrass mandolins at a fraction of the price. This instrument comes with a Kentucky Deluxe NuHyde gig bag for a great combination of protection and portability.
