It's one of the best-kept secrets in the guitar world that Taylor not only make great acoustic guitars, but exceptional electrics as well. It's a shame, because more of us ought to be familiar with the California-based manufacturer's excellent T3/B, a true semi-hollow electric capable of producing a versatile range of tones for any type of music you care to name. Unlike Taylor's T5 series, the T3/B is not designed to do double duty as an acoustic guitar, and instead features two Style 2 HD humbucking pickups for a big, bold sound complimented by the guitar's size and hollow interior. But the fun doesn't stop there - those pickups are connected to split-coil pots, allowing you to dial in a bright, glassier sound with ease. The T3/B also comes with a Bigsby tailpiece, allowing you to add some vibrato effects to your country, rock, or rockabilly licks.
This guitar has seen very light playing time by its one owner and little distinguishes it from a new guitar in terms of play wear. We consider it to be on the upper end of excellent condition. The set up is very good and it plays well in all positions with consistent intonation. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
