This 000-28EC is #292 of the initial 400 guitar run of the Eric Clapton signature series of guitars. These models were so popular Martin continued with production after the initial run. It features a sitka spruce top (with an aging toner to give it an amber hue) and East Indian Rosewood back and sides. The neck has a very comfortable modified V contour with a 1-3/4" nut width. It also has a fishman undersaddle pickup installed. This shows cosmetic signs of good honest use including pick marking on the pickguard and treble side of the top, a handful of dings and dents in the finish on the top back and sides, and some slight scuffing on the side of the headstock, and some slight buckle marks on the back wood. There are no cracks in the wood and is structurally sound. It includes the original hard shell case.
