Collings instruments are now in the lineup of the Denver Folklore Center's offering of quality acoustic guitars and mandolins. These professional quality instruments are produced in Austin, Texas and are renowned as some of the finest acoustic guitars and mandolins being built today. Bill Collings and his team of talented artisans have been building instruments since the mid 1970s. Since that time Collings Guitars have become the instrument brand of choice for numerous professional and hobbyist musicians. Guitarists such as Lyle Lovett, Bill Frisell, and Zac Brown choose Collings Guitars as their touring instruments and mandolin players such as Sarah Jarosz, Adam Steffey, and Jesse Cobb are known for playing various styles of Collings Mandolins.
