Description
The Bourgeois OM Vintage HS (Heirloom Series) is designed with the classic pre-war orchestra model guitars in mind. This boasts an Adirondack spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides which provides a clear high end and lush bass response with plenty of headroom to dig in. This has fully scalloped top bracing, as well as thin and tall back bracing, which add up to a nicely balanced tonal experience. The volume on this is remarkable and would almost make you think you're hearing a dreadnought. The Heirloom Series incorporates a number of upgrades that truly make this guitar sing. Most notably the use of animal protein glue which adds a deep resonance and sustain to the whole instrument. This also incorporates a Madagascar rosewood headplate, 'Extra Vintage' three ring rosette and zig-zag backstrip, and an Ivoroid/30's style herringbone purfling trim that add a classic look harkening to the golden age of American flat-top guitars.
