Description
Vega make some of our very favorite open-back banjos, so when we stumble across a used one, like this 2020 Old Tyme Wonder, it feels like quite the good fortune. With a warm, resonant sound with a lot of lows and mids, this fantastic little five-string has a tone perfectly suited for old time or melodic clawhammer play. The Old Tyme Wonder utilizes all-maple construction for an exceptional volume and punch, and the banjo's owner had a Fiberskyn head installed as a custom upgrade to help warm up the tone.
This instrument has seen very little playing time and has next to no visible wear. We consider it to be on the upper end of very good condition. Included in the price is the original hard-shell case.
