Description

While 11 and 12 inch pots are commonplace in the world of open-back banjos, 13s are still somewhat rare, making this Ute 13" Premium a must-have for our store. As one would expect, the larger multi-ply flamed maple pot gives this banjo impressive volume, bass, and sustain, and makes it a great fit both for those players looking for an especially loud open-back, as well as those who are simply looking for a new sound. As with all Utes, the 13" Premium is a beautiful, hand-built instrument with lots of rustic character and old-time cosmetic sensibilities, right down to minor appointments like the aged hardware and the hardwood armrest.

This instrument arrived in our store with no real playing wear that would distinguish it from a new one. That being said, as the gig bag is non-original, we feel it's more accurate to list it as excellent (or "excellent plus") condition, rather than mint.

*Please note, per our return policy, all sales on used and consignment instruments are final.*
