UTE banjos are made in Boulder Colorado by the same folks who make OME banjos. This features a 12" pot with a renaissance head fitted to a 7 ply maple rim for a fantastic 'rounded' old-time tone while still maintaining the clarity and definition you'd want from a quality banjo. The tension hoop, brackets, and tuners are a beautifully antiqued gold and the pot is stained a deep mocha color. The Fretboard edge is beveled where the neck meets the pot to help give your clawhammer strum a little more room to breath. This includes a deluxe Ome gig bag.
