The "Wonder" banjo by Pisgah is a great modern take on a classic banjo model. It sports lots of great features for a very affordable handmade American instrument. They start with some very nicely figured maple and add their version of a "Little Wonder" tone ring. Add to this some great brass hardware and a very tasteful scooped neck and it all adds up to a formidable old- time music machine. It has a classic tone with a bright mid-range and good punch when you need it.
