Description
Pisgah's Possum model provides intermediate players with an excellent introduction to the Asheville-based manufacturer's lineup - it's a no-frills open-back that still boasts the rich tone that Pisgah are known for. This Possum features all-cherry construction and a persimmon tone ring for some crisp trebles to compliment the model's naturally warm tone, and turns the Possum into an exceptionally versatile clawhammer tool good both alone as well as within the context of a stringband. Pisgah's rustic visual appointments ensure it looks the part, too - we're a fan of the aged brass hardware, persimmon fingerboard, and quilted star headstock inlay. Included in the price is a Pisgah soft-shell case.
