This 11" Appalachian is another great new addition to our store from Pisgah Banjo Company: a sweet-voiced open-back with all the charm and tone of an open-back banjo from a now-bygone era. The maple neck and 11" maple pot lend it more chime and rasp than many of the other banjos we see from Pisgah, making it well-suited for both solo playing as well as with an old-time a string band. Lovely cosmetic touches like the persimmon headstock overlay and the eight-point wooden star inlay also give the instrument a beautiful, rustic look while remaining tasteful. The Appalachian comes with a Pisgah gig bag for a good mix of protection and portability.
