Description
A simple design makes this Ome Tupelo Banjo stand out in our lineup of excellent open-back banjos from the Ome Banjo Company. The ebony scooped fingerboard provides a little extra room for old time and clawhammer players to play without hitting the head or fingerboard. A shorter 25.5" scale further improves playability by allowing the strings to be up to pitch at a slightly less tension - ultimately making them easier to push down. This banjo is built with a two-ply cherry pot with a tortoise-shell cap, which makes for an aesthetically uniform appearance when combined with the solid cherry neck. Also included is a Superior Hardshell Banjo Case.
