A simple design makes this Ome Tupelo Banjo standout in our lineup of excellent openback banjos from the Ome Banjo Company. The ebony scooped fingerboard provides a little extra room for old time and clawhammer players to play without hitting the head or fingerboard. A shorter 25.5" scale further improves playability by allowing the strings to be up to pitch at a slightly less tension- ultimately making them easier to push down. Mahogany veneer wraps a 2-ply maple rim which makes for an aesthetically uniform appearance when combined with the mahogany neck. Also included is a Superior Hardshell Banjo Case.
