Description
We've been itching to get our hands on the High Moon, Gold Tone's all hand-built clawhammer machine, for some time now. What we've heard so far has delighted all the old time players on staff, and we're sure that customers will be immediately drawn to this fantastic open-back, too. The HM-100 combines a mahogany neck with a maple pot for a balanced and direct tone replete with fundamentals and midrange that allows it to easily cut through the sound of a stringband, but without sacrificing any of the richness or complexity that players look for out of a hand-made instrument. The High Moon features relatively minimal cosmetic appointments, with a matte finish, wood headstock inlays, and a maple armrest, but it's not lacking in pastoral grace and old-time modesty. Come check it out - we're sure you'll be over the moon! Included in the price is a Gold Tone hard-shell case.
