Description

While Gold Tone now build a few signature models commemorating clawhammer legend Bob Carlin, the BC-350 was their first - and in our estimation, still the best. These fantastic 12" open-backs boast a warm, complex tone almost in spite of their all maple construction, with a rolled brass flat bar tone ring for added articulation and fuller low frequencies. The BC-350 also features a full frailing scoop, planetary tuners, and genuine nickel-plated hardware to ensure it checks all the boxes for the serious old-time player. This makes for a great instrument for intermediate to advanced musicians who are interested in something a cut above your typical production banjo, but aren't quite ready to empty their piggy bank in pursuit of a true boutique instrument. Included in our price is a Gold Tone hard-shell case.
