We've wanted a gourd banjo in our shop for years now - imagine our delight when we found Fare Thee Well Banjos practically right in our backyard! Denver-based luthier Jason Cox has been making some fantastic, ultra-authentic mountain banjos at a fantastic price, and we've been thrilled to put his instruments out on our sales floor. Each Fare Thee Well is a unique instrument, and this one features a martin gourd with a goatskin head and a substantial mahogany neck for a warm, old-timey tone unlike any other banjo we carry. Come on down and hear what these instruments sounded like 200 years ago! This is as close to the real deal as you're liable to find anywhere in the mountain west.
