Description
The Bishline Cimarron stands toe-to-toe against some of the best and most popular American-made resonator banjos currently in production, and having one of these tremendous instruments in our store has already proven to be a lot of fun. Described by the Tulsa-based manufacturer as a "Bluegrass workhorse", the Cimarron is built around a patented Bishline tone-ring and a mahogany neck, combined with a walnut pot, burled walnut resonator, and a full, one-piece flange. Its satin finish and minimal cosmetics keep the instrument more cost-effective than its flashier cousins, although the fine cosmetic details and overall workmanship still bely a well-built and beautiful five-string.
This instrument boasts a great, low set up, ideal for speedy Scruggs-style playing, and it shows almost nothing in the way of playing wear, with no scuffs or scratches to speak of. We consider it to be in excellent condition. For whatever reason, this banjo was not shipped with the usual, Bishline hard-shell case, and came with a Recording King one instead, which comes included in our listed price.
