Description

We have been lucky enough to work with OME Banjos since we opened our store in 1962 (They were known as ODE banjos back then!) Through the years we've seen some real stunners come into the shop, and this Jubilee is no exception. This features a 12" cherry pot and mahogany neck with the full 26.25" scale length. The Victorian-shaped headstock is capped with ebony and adorned with the MOP & Abalone star and moon inlay pattern that continues on to the ebony fretboard. It also features the S-scoop starting at the 17th fret, polished nickel hardware, simulated tortoise cap on the cherry pot, and a wooden armrest. The longer 26.25" scale helps to brighten up the tonal response of this banjo, and coupled with the 12" pot helps to provide a bit more full frequency sound than a typical "old-time" style banjo with a 25.5" scale. Included as always is a Superior hard shell case.
