The Denver Folklore Center carries a wide array of guitar strings, accessories, and books for folk and acoustic instruments.
Over the years the Denver Folklore Center has carried many lines of amplifiers specifically made for the acoustic musician. These days we sell two lines of amplifiers that have impressed us very much. The Fishman Loudbox series is a great feature-packed line of amps at very reasonable prices. AER amplifiers are designed and crafted in Germany and fill the needs of the most discriminating acoustic musician.
For your amplification needs we carry a large selection of pickups from many fine makers. The world of pickups is quite competitive and ever changing. We carry a number of D.I. box options from both Fishman and L.R. Baggs.
We carry a huge selection of guitar strings (acoustic, electric, classical), as well as strings for ukulele, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, dobro, dulcimer, and some of the more obscure instruments like cuatro, bouzouki, requinto and tiple. Some brands we carry are;
