Mark Caldwell–Teacher



Mark has put together groups and performed in many different combinations including:

  • solo guitar
  • groups of various sizes with guitar, drums, percussion, bass, horns, and keyboards
  • styles including rock, pop, blues, jazz, reggae, country, funk, bossa nova, r&b, folk, etc.
  • various private and public settings including private parties, festivals, colleges/schools, theater

He was the Musical Director of a twelve-piece band for the production of “Granny Dances To A Holiday Drum” in 2006, 2007, and 2008. He also composed a number of pieces of music for this show.

He teaches at the Folklore Center on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

  • styles include: strumming/fingerpicking, popular songs, Hawaiian, jazz/blues, etc.
