Otis Taylor Model Banjo by Ome (SOLD)

Otis Taylor is a well-known composer and blues musician, best known for his style of music called "trance blues". He has been coming into the Denver Folklore Center since he was a young teenager and is good friends with our proprietor, Harry Tuft. A recent project of Otis's is "Recapturing the Banjo", a CD he did with Corey Harris, Keb' Mo', Guy Davis, and Alvin Youngblood Hart. This special model banjo was made by Ome to help commemorate that project. It is a great sounding banjo with a 12" head and special inlays on the neck and headstock. It has a deep wine-colored finish and is made of highly-figured maple. It has Ome's "old time" tone ring and has a renaissance head for a dynamite sound.
