Martin Model A Mandolin (c.1949)

This little cutie is a very nice woody sounding mandolin. It plays great with excellent action. It has a repaired crack on the bass bout and a more severe boo-boo on the treble bout. All these things happened some time well in the past, and the repairs done at that time seem very competent to us, with no discernible effect to the sound or integrity of the instrument. This mando has a great Celtic-y, Old-Time-y tone.
